Local Deals: Franklin Square

Welcome to Local Deals, a new Patch column dedicated to giving you five great bargains close to home. 

This week, we hit Franklin Square — also known as the strip mall next to Colony Florist or the one with Dunkin Donuts — to find great deals on tulips, teeth cleaning for pets, pizza and more. Remember to check with the vendor to see if any additional conditions apply.

Deal: Pizza Monday, a $5 Large Pie every Monday; Daily Combo, a large pie plus eight jumbo wings, $9.95
Good through: "Forever and ever until I'm dead," owner Nick "Piazella" Venega told Patch. "People call every Monday asking if we still have the $5 pizza special." As long as Nick is still breathing, the special is on. No need to call ahead to ask, and no coupon required.

Colony Florist
Deal: Bundle of Tulips for $8.50 (normally $10)
Good through: March; Additional deals are available on their mailing list. To sign up, call the store with your email address or email WeCare@colonyfloristonline.com and ask to be put on the mailing list.

Franklin Lakes Animal Hospital
Deal: For "Dental Cleaning Month" the veterinarian is offering 20 percent off teeth cleanings.
Good through: Technically March, but the deal is so popular FLAH usually extends the sale through April, sometimes May.  

Deal: $28 Mani-Pedi special on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays only; LCN (Light Concept Nails) on sale for $80 (regularly $120); Eyelash Extensions for $150 (regularly $190); facials ranging from $60 to $80.
Good through: Spring

Deal: Four pounds of coffee for $24.99 (normally $9 each); six donuts for $3.99 (normally $1 each); a new #8 Big and Tasty Breakfast Sandwich plus a large coffee for $5.49; New Mini Soft Serve Parfait in Recee's, Strawberry and Almond or Oreo Cookie for $2.
Good through: Ongoing. 

Honorable mention: While it isn't currently running any sales, is now open on Sundays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for appointments with Frankie only. Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments are preferred.
