Need Social Security, Disability, Anchor, Or Have Tax Question? Wyckoff Can Help

Wyckoff has tips about Senior Freeze, Anchor, Stay NJ programs for residents 65 and over, taxes, and those with Social Security Disability.

WYCKOFF, NJ — The town of Wyckoff wants to make it a little bit easier for people to apply for certain state programs. They released this information last week:

The Division of Taxation has created a single application form for the Senior Freeze, ANCHOR, and Stay NJ programs for residents 65 and over, or those collecting Social Security Disability benefits.

The single application form can be submitted online or by mail.

The Division of Taxation will determine the applicant’s eligibility and send them a letter outlining the specific benefits for which they qualify.

Eligibility requirements, including income limits and benefits available for all property tax relief programs, are subject to change by the state budget.

In addition, the Division of Taxation offers telephone appointments for individuals and authorized representatives to receive guidance on income tax and the property tax relief programs of ANCHOR, Senior Freeze, and Stay NJ.

You need to make an appointment for either the morning, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 1 p.m., or the afternoon, between the hours of 1 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. A representative will call any time in that appointment window. If the first call is unanswered, the representative will make a second attempt to call. In the event the second call is not answered, a new appointment must be scheduled.

The deadlines for those eligible are later in 2025. See more details in the below flyer from the town.
