Saturday: 5K For Charity

1. Bryan's Run, a 5K that raises funds to support brain cancer, starts at 9 a.m. from Church of  the Most Blessed Sacrament. Runners will race down Franklin Lake Road to Orchard Lane to Walnut Drive and up Ewing Avenue returning to Franklin Lake Road and MBS. 

2. Kaiya's Cup, at 3 p.m. at the Ice Vault in Wayne. The charity match raises funds for Ramapo coach Lee Barber’s daughter Kaiya, who has Cerebral Palsy.

3. Canines on the Catwalk, a pet fashion show, will be held at the Knights of Columbus in Oakland tonight at 7 p.m.

4. Charity basketball game tonight will have the Franklin Lakes Police Department (and other local teams) playing against NFL Pros. The games start at 7 p.m. with a limited access VIP session starting at 5:30 p.m.

5. Tomorrow, Ramapo High School will be inducting their sixth class of inductees into the Athletic Hall of Fame on Sunday. The induction banquet will be held at The Brownstone in Paterson starting at 12:30 p.m.  Tickets cost $65.
