Sept. 29 - Drug Possession

At approximately 1:45 PM, P.O. Robert Schlossberg was monitoring traffic on Route 208 North at Grandview Avenue. He observed a black Ford F150 pass him exceeding the posted speed limit. The vehicle was stopped and the subsequent investigation resulted in the arrests of a 28-year-old Oak Ridge man and 30-year-old Oak Ridge woman.
He charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of a hypodermic needle, and possession of narcotics paraphernalia. She was charged with possession of a hypodermic needle and possession of narcotics paraphernalia. Both subjects were turned over to the custody of the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office and remanded to the county jail. P.O. Terrence Murphy assisted with the arrests.

Sept. 29 - DUI
At approximately 6:00 PM, P.O. Michael Flim observed a gray Chrysler 300 on Cedar Hill Avenue that exhibited equipment violations. The vehicle was stopped and the subsequent investigation resulted in the arrest of a 27-year-old Warwick, NY man.
He was transported into headquarters, processed, and charged with driving while under the influence, reckless driving, maintenance of lamps, and possession of an open alcoholic beverage container in a motor vehicle. He was released to the custody of a friend pending a court date. His vehicle was impounded and held for 12 hours under John’s Law. Sgt. Daniel Kellogg and P.O. Robert Schlossberg assisted with the arrest.
Oct. 8 - Warrant Arrest
At approximately 12:30 PM, P.O. Kyle Ferreira and P.O. Michael Scalise were dispatched to a home on Cedar Hill Avenue on a report of a suspicious person. Upon their arrival, they encountered a 43-year-old Hawthorne woman sitting on the rear deck of the home. The subsequent investigation revealed that she had active warrants from Hawthorne NJ and Clifton NJ. She was taken into custody and transported into headquarters. Upon her arrival at headquarters, she was found to be in possession of a controlled dangerous substance and narcotics paraphernalia. She was charged accordingly and transported to the Bergen County Jail. P.O. Michael Teegan and P.O. John Rafferty assisted with the arrest.
Oct. 9 - DUI
At approximately 12:15 AM, P.O. Robert Schlossberg was patrolling in the area of Wyckoff Avenue and Russell Avenue. He observed a black Mitsubishi Montero being operated below the legal speed limit and stopping improperly at a stop sign. He stopped the vehicle and the subsequent investigation led to the arrest of a 21-year-old Paterson woman. She was transported into headquarters and charged with driving while under the influence, careless driving, driving with a suspended license, and failure to stop at a stop sign. After processing, she was released to the custody of a family member. Her vehicle was impounded and held for 12 hours under John’s Law. P.O. Terrence Murphy, P.O. Joseph Fullam, and P.O. Kaitlyn Maglione assisted with the arrest.
Oct. 11 - DWI
At approximately 2:40 AM, P.O. Michael Flim was patrolling when he observed a female standing next to a black Mercedes Benz parked near the entrance to Lincoln School. The subsequent investigation resulted in the arrest of a 25-year-old Wayne woman was transported into headquarters and charged with driving while intoxicated and driving while intoxicated in a school zone. After processing, she was released to the custody of a family member. Her vehicle was impounded and held for 12 hours under John’s Law. P.O. Ryan Tenney assisted with the arrest.
Oct. 14 - Drug Possession
At approximately 2:00 PM, Sgt. Mark Tagliareni was monitoring traffic on Route 208 North. He observed a black Toyota Corolla make an abrupt lane change without using a turn signal. The vehicle was stopped and the subsequent investigation resulted in the arrests of a 28-year-old New York man and a 27-year-old man from Astoria. Both subjects were transported into headquarters and charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams and possession of narcotics paraphernalia. They were both released from custody pending a court date.
