As Spring 2024 Starts, Is One More Snow Day In Wyckoff's Future?
While snow showers are predicted for the first days of spring, the bigger story in Bergen County may be this weekend's rain.

WYCKOFF, NJ — Spring began at 11:06 p.m. Tuesday night — the start of the vernal equinox — and despite some meteorologists talking about the possibility of one last snowstorm around this time, the forecast now calls for heavy rain over the weekend.
The winter of 2023-2024 saw two major snowstorms that closed many Bergen County schools, one in January and one in February. The latter didn't really whip up until after 7:30 a.m. on Feb. 13, misleading some into believing that forecasters and school officials had called it wrong. But once it began, the snow continued for much of that day.
