Tell Us: How Do You Feel About A Proposed Cell Tower Behind Market Basket?

Patch wants to know what you think about T-Mobile's plan.

Everybody hates dropped calls. One minute you're talking away and the next you realize you're talking into thin air.

According to a radio frequency engineer who testified on behalf of T-Mobile at the Zoning Board last week, the hilly terrain near High Mountain Road results in spotty coverage. T-Mobile's solution: 130-foot cell phone tower to be built behind the Urban Farms Shopping Center. The tower would be disguised as a flagpole.

Several residents have voiced their opposition to the cell tower, which requires a varience due to its proposed close proximity to homes on Feather Lane. Members of the Zoning Board also questioned the need for another tower in town.
