Thursday: FLOW Follies is Here!

Scholarship show begins its four show run, tickets for the fashion show, doctor to speak about woman's issues, and more.

1. The 25th annual production of  FLOW Follies "There's No Business Like Flow Business" premieres tonight at 7:30 p.m. at Ramapo High School. Tickets are $15 for adults and $8 for students and Seniors. The show supports scholarships for local high school students. 

2, Get your tickets for "Ramapo Remembers When," the March 14 fashion show and dinner to benefit Project Graduation: Call Gail at 201-847-8158. Admission is $50 per adult and $35 per student. 

3. Dr. Margaret Brisco, author of "Childbirth: A Unique Experience", "Women in Transition" and "Metamorphoses," will be speaking at the library at 7 p.m. The free session is called "Women and Their Unique Issues."  All are welcome to attend.

4. Start the day Zen: Yoga with Melissa is at the Rec Center at 9 a.m. Classes are free for full members or $10 for nonmembers or those whose membership does not include classes. 

5. A teen poetry contest, open to Franklin Lakes students in grades 6 to 12, is ongoing. Entries of an original poem or song, no longer than 250 words, can be submitted at the Franklin Lakes Public Library or sent directly to kate_thelibrarian@yahoo.com. Deadline is April 5.
