Tuesday: School Budget Presented to Council
Tickets are available for Teen Kula Idol, the Lions Club Wine Tasting and FAMS production Once Upon a Mattress.

1. The Borough Council meets tonight at 7:30 p.m. at Borough Hall. The local Board of Education is expected to present the school budget at the meeting.
2. Water Colors for Beginners, an art class for seniors, will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. today. The class costs $4.
3. Three big events are happening this Friday night. Did you get your tickets yet? For Teen Kula Idol tickets, stop by Stage Left Fashions in the Franklin Crossing Shopping Center. For tickets to the Lions Club Wine Tasting Fundraiser at the Indian Trail Club, call or stop by Dr. Warsak's office. 4. The Emmanuel Cancer Foundation Fine Arts and Crafts Fair is returning to Franklin Lakes May 14 and 15. Vendors are needed! Anyone interested should contact Mary Ellen Marra of Premiere Productions LLC at 201-857-3930.
5. A teen poetry contest, open to Franklin Lakes students in grades 6 to 12, is ongoing. Entries of an original poem or song, no longer than 250 words, can be submitted at the Franklin Lakes Public Library or sent directly tokate_thelibrarian@yahoo.com. Deadline is April 5.
