Wednesday: Broadway Night at FAMS

Celebrate Women's History Month at the library, learn about genealogy and get a jumpstart on your workout today, and more.

1. Does your workout need a Jumpstart? Try Sylvia's class at the Community Center from 8 to 9 a.m. Classes are free for full members or $10 for nonmembers or those whose membership does not include classes. 

2. Hey kids: Want to learn more about your family tree? Local History Librarian Samantha McCoy will give a class on genealogy for children in grades 4 through 7 at 4:15 today. Pre-registration is required. 

3. Enjoy an evening of Broadway show tunes performed by Broadway stars without having to leave town at Franklin Avenue Middle School tonight. Tickets cost $20 for adults, $10 for elementary and middle school students accompanied by a full-paying adult. 4. Lady Bird, Pat and Betty: Tea for Three, a one-woman show starring Emmy Award-winning actress Elaine Bromka reveals a gallery of intimate portraits of three different First Ladies.  This whimsical comedic salute to Women's History Mont show starts at 7 p.m. at the library.

5. Have questions about life and death? Stop by Temple Emanuel at 8 p.m. for Jewish Lifecycles from Birth to Death: A circular discussion.
