Wyckoff Dance School Raises Money In Honor Of Slain Parkland Teen

Local dance school students raised $1,290 in honor of Jaime Guttenberg, a 14-year-old dancer and student at the Parkland, Fla. school.

WYCKOFF, NJ - Robyn D'Angelo School of Dance held its 1st ever Dance-A-Thon Monday in honor of one of the 16 people killed during the 2018 mass shooting at Stoneman Douglas High School.

Local dance school students raised $1,290 in honor of Jaime Guttenberg, a 14-year-old dancer and student at the Parkland, Fla. school.

The funds will be donated to Orange Ribbons for Jaime, a non-profit organization founded by her parents following the tragedy.

Dance schools from across the country came together this past week to raise money for the organization by hosting Dance-A-Thons.

The proceeds raised will go to support causes close to Jaime's heart, including serving people with special needs, community service activities, and of course, dance. The funds raised will be used to award three different scholarships to deserving students of all abilities in honor of Jaime.
