Wyckoff PD Say Woman Struck, Bit Boyfriend After Argument
The woman claimed the man tried to run her over with a car, but police determined she was actually the attacker.

A woman who told police her boyfriend tried to run her over was actually the attacker, according to Wyckoff Police.
Police Officers responded to the intersection of Wyckoff Avenue and Lake Road to investigate a domestic violence incident just before 2 a.m. on Feb. 16 and found a 23-year-old woman from the Bronx “standing in the roadway who claimed that she had been left there by her boyfriend following an argument,” Wyckoff Police Chief Benjamin C. Fox said. The woman also claimed her boyfriend tried to run her over with the car.
Police contacted the 49-year-old Riverdale, NY man by telephone and he responded to police headquarters.

The investigation revealed that after an argument, the woman left a home on Monroe Avenue she and the man were visiting and “because of the freezing temperatures, the man went looking for her.“
But when the man located her near Lake Road, they argued again and he was struck in the head and bit on the hand, sustaining minor injuries.
