Will Wyckoff Schools Lose Or Gain State Aid Next Year? Figures Released
New Jersey's Department of Education released state aid figures for almost 600 school districts for 2025-2026. Where does Wyckoff stand?

WYCKOFF, NJ — New Jersey's Department of Education released its funding figures for the next school year on Thursday, sending $12.1 billion to the state's nearly 600 districts.
The Wyckoff public schools will receive $2.825 million for next year, including $2.1 million in special education aid, $359,000 in transportation aid and $312,000 in security aid.
The new amount is down 3 percent ($87,000) from the current year's $2.9 million in aid.

The district educates a little over 2,000 full-time students.
The school board will use the aid to hammer out the next school budget. Last May, a proposed $49.9 million budget was presented for the current year.

175 districts are grappling with cuts to funding next year, some of whom had increases in previous years. 392 districts will receive increased funding and seven will get the same funding.
Newark Public Schools are getting a $75 million increase in aid. The Cape May City Schools will see the largest percentage cut, 27.29 percent.
