Wyckoff YMCA Looking to Raise $175K
The Y is kicking off its annual Campaign next week.
The Wyckoff YMCA will host its annual fundraising Campaign kickoff next week. This year, Y officials announced the community organization is looking to raise $175,000 with the campaign.
“Throughout Bergen County, countless people know the Wyckoff Family YMCA. But there’s so much more to our Y than one might think," Wyckoff Y Executive Director Joy Vottero said in a release announcing the campaign.
“The Y is more than a gym. It’s a cause. As a charity, we’re dedicated to nurturing the potential of every child and teen, improving the nation’s health and well-being, and giving back and providing support to our neighbors.”

According to the release, the $175K will help fund scholarships for childcare, special needs, summer camp, and help defray costs of programs for seniors.
The Y will host a Campaign Reception next Thursday, March 13, at 6:30 p.m. The event will feature entertainment by the YArts Theatre Company as well as updates from members on how the Y has had a positive effect on the community from their perspective.
