Wyckoff's Julia's Butterfly Foundation Welcomes Members to Board of Directors

Iliana McGinnis of Wyckoff and Moira Sullivan Renke of Haworth are now apart of the organization's Board of Directors.

Julia’s Butterfly Foundation, based in Wyckoff, is excited to announce the addition of Iliana McGinnis and Moira Sullivan Renke to the Board of Directors.

Iliana McGinnis has been an active member of Julia’s Butterfly Foundation’s Butterfly Committee for the past six years. As publisher of EXCLUSIVELee.com, Iliana brings to the table a combination of special skills and marketing strategies. As an actress, Iliana can be seen on CW’s “The Carrie Diaries,” the upcoming web series, “Don’t Know Jack,” and MTV’s new series, “One Bad Choice.” She’s the Spokes Mom for the American Beverage Association with a commercial campaign that has “turned into a case study on the power of advertising” according to the New York Times.

Prior to launching her career in the entertainment industry, Iliana was the East Coast Regional Manager for a high end office furniture manufacturer. Iliana has a daughter and resides in Wyckoff, and she sits on the committee of several charitable organizations, including Opening Act in New York City.

Moira Sullivan Renke is currently the Director of Development at Immaculate Heart Academy, a catholic high school in the Township of Washington. Her prior experience includes Donor Relations at Saint Peter’s University, the Annual Fund Manager, Communication Specialist at Englewood Hospital & Medical Center in Englewood. She has extensive non-profit experience including positions with the American Cancer Society and Oasis, a haven for women and children. Moira has served on the Butterfly Ball committee for 4 years and will bring her media expertise to the board. Moira resides in Haworth with her husband and three children.

Julia’s Butterfly Foundation “is a volunteer, non-profit 501(c)3 charitable organization dedicated to improving the lives of terminally and chronically ill children and their families” and honors the memory of Julia Marie Bommer, a 6-year-old who passed away in 2005 after a battle with a rare kidney disorder, according to its website.
