Blood Drive Today at Bellmore Library

In response to an urgent need for blood donations, the library is hosting a blood drive from 2 to 8 p.m.

In response to an increased need for blood, the Bellmore Library is urging the Bellmore-Merrick community to roll up its sleeves, donate blood and ensure hospital demands continue to be met over the summer.

The Blood Drive is being held in memory of Dr. Leonard Schreiber. Dr. Schreiber was a resident of Bellmore whose orthodontics practice was in Merrick for decades.

The drive will be held Tuesday from 2 to 8 p.m. at the Bellmore Memorial Library. Two free Mets tickets will be given to every donor.
