Police are investigating a car fire that started in the garage of a home on Harding Street on Wednesday.
Police said that the resident was doing repairs on the car when the fire started around 5 p.m.
The North Bellmore Fire Department quickly entinguished the fire and police are still investigating the cause, authorities said.
