18-Year-Old Charged After Fatally Shooting Man In The Head In Brooklyn
The fatal incident happened in front of 10 Meserole Street.
BROOKLYN, NY — An 18-year-old has been charged with murder in connection with a fatal shooting that left a 21-year-old man dead back in March, police announced Wednesday.
Edilve Chavez was taken into custody and also charged with criminal possession of a weapon on Tuesday, police said.
Chavez is accused of fatally shooting Joharis Rivas in the head in front of 10 Meserole Street on March 11, Patch previously reported.

Rivas was transported to NYC Health and Hospitals/Elmhurst, where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead, police said.
Defense attorney information for Chavez was not readily available as of Wednesday afternoon.
