2 Teens Stabbed In Brooklyn After Puerto Rican Day Parade Gathering

A motive behind the stabbing is not known yet.

BROOKLYN, NY — Two teenagers were stabbed in Brooklyn Sunday night, police said.

The stabbing occurred after a Puerto Rican day celebration in Bushwick around 8 p.m. near the entrance to Maria Hernandez Park.

Officers at the scene found a 19-year-old man with a stab wound to the abdomen and an 18-year-old man with a stab wound in the back, police said.

Both victims were transported to Elmhurst Hospital. The 19-year-old is currently in critical but stable condition. The 18-year-old is in stable condition, police said.

No arrests have been made. A description of a possible suspect was not readily available as of Monday afternoon.
