Here are the top stories in Brooklyn today:
- Mayor Bill de Blasio announced a $75 million investment for the development of the Bushwick Inlet Park. The large project will go towards ensuring 27 acres of green-space on the North Brooklyn waterfront. Construction on the park should begin in late 2022. (nyc.gov)
- Work is continuing on the massively tall Brooklyn Tower. The superstructure at 9 DeKalb Ave. has topped out at 1,066 feet, and will house a total of 550 residences. The building is expected to open for occupancy in late 2022. (New York YIMBY)
- Two new cafes in Brooklyn Heights both feature an exciting "Asian Twist." Sippy Café recently opened at 153 Remsen St., at what is now its second location. Café Diem Eatery is slated to open early 2022, at 79 Atlantic Ave. (Brooklyn Heights Blog)
