Here are the top stories in Brooklyn today:

  1. The NYPD is seeking a knife-wielding suspect who slashed a 41-year-old woman walking with her kids on the day after Christmas. The victim was slashed in the stomach while walking near 45th Street and Eighth Avenue, and luckily only suffered a minor laceration and is expected to make a full recovery. The suspect was last seen running south on Seventh Avenue. (NBC New York)
  2. Brooklyn resident Blake Zavadsky spoke out after suffering an anti-semitic attack. Zavadsky was attacked while wearing a hoodie with the insignia of the Israeli military. The identity of the suspect is being investigated by the NYPD's Hate Crime's Task Force. (CBS New York)
  3. Five anti-vaxx protesters were arrested after storming a Downtown Brooklyn Burger King. The mask-less protestors were caught on camera screaming at employees for refusing to serve them food. The five people arrested were charged with trespassing and remaining unlawfully inside the building. (New York Post)
  4. An NYC man was pistol-whipped and shot in his legs. by two gunmen. (paywall: New York Daily News)
