Here are the top stories in Brooklyn today:

1. A 29-year-old Brooklyn man was shot and killed in Bushwick in an attack that authorities believe to be connected to gang activity. Officers from the 83rd Precinct found the victim outside of an apartment building on 248 Stanhope St. on the night of Oct. 30. No arrests were reported as of Sunday morning. (AMNY)
2. Construction is continuing on the nearly 1 million square-foot Calyer Place residential development. The Greenpoint luxury high-rise is located in a fairly isolated, unbuilt section of the waterfront. (New York YIMBY)
