An SUV slammed into an NYPD cruiser during a three-car crash in Brooklyn Sunday, sending two officers and two civilians to the hospital.

BROOKLYN, NY — Chaos broke out on a Brooklyn street early Sunday when an SUV driven by an alleged drunk driver crashed into an NYPD cruiser, injuring four people — including two officers.
Police said a 24-year-old man was behind the wheel of a 2024 black Chevy Suburban heading north on Coney Island Avenue in Sheepshead Bay just before 2 a.m. when he crashed with a 2024 Volvo traveling west on Avenue U.
The collision pushed the Volvo, driven by a 34-year-old, into the path of a marked NYPD cruiser traveling south on Coney Island Avenue, resulting in a crash between the two vehicles, police said.
