Electrical Fire Critically Injures 3 In Brooklyn: FDNY

PROSPECT LEFFERTS GARDENS, NY — Three people were critically injured in an electrical fire in Brooklyn Friday morning, authorities said.

The fire sparked near Clarkson and Rogers avenues about 11:20 a.m. Friday and was under control 20 minutes later, according to the FDNY.

Three people were rushed to Staten Island University Hospital in critical condition, authorities said.

It was not immediately clear what sparked the fire at an old Dollar Tree location — and near the site of a planned 20,947-square-foot development.
