Former Brooklyn Teacher Pleads Guilty To Child Sex Crimes: DA
Winston Nguyen, 38, has been charged with enlisting a child in a sexual performance and five counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
BROOKLYN, NY — A teacher has pled guilty to child sex crimes on Monday after allegedly soliciting lewd images from a number of children in schools throughout Brooklyn, prosecutors announced.
Winston Nguyen, 38, has been charged with enlisting a child in a sexual performance and five counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
Nguyen, was a former teacher at Saint Ann’s Schools, in Brooklyn Heights.

According to prosecutors, the crimes involving the children ages 13 t0 15-year-old began in October 2022 and continued until May 2024.
"Today's plea holds this defendant responsible for his disturbing and predatory conduct while sparing young and vulnerable victims from ever having to testify about their traumatic experiences," Brooklyn District Attorney Eric Gonzalez said in a statement.

Nguyen is accused of sending nude photos and a video of a teenage boy masturbating on Snapchat to a number of children at the schools.
The 38-year-old allegedly pretended to be a teenage boy during his crimes, prosecutors said.
Nguyen is expected to be sentenced to at least seven years in prison. He will have to register as a sex offender once he is released.
Sentencing in the case is scheduled for March 17, prosecutors said.
