Here are the top stories in Brooklyn today:

  1. Gov. Kathy Hochul and NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio both spent Sunday at Brooklyn churches as New York's governor race begins to heat up. Hochul spoke at St. Paul Community Baptist Church in East New York, while de Blasio visited Clarendon Road Church in East Flatbush. Additionally, Attorney General Letitia James has officially announced her bid for the seat, while Public Advocate Jumaane Williams is expected to throw his hat in the ring this week. (Brooklyn Paper)
  2. StorQuest Self Storage recently announced the opening of a new location in the bustling Red Hook neighborhood of Brooklyn. The state-of-the-art facility at 155 King St. represents the company's second location Brooklyn, and its 10th in New York State. StorQuest will offer 24-hour digital surveillance, as well as access to storage 7 days a week. (Benzinga)
  3. The Brooklyn Heights waterfront has recently been home to Planet Nine, a 240-foot luxury super yacht featured in the film "Tenet." The marina would not share who owns the vessel, but evidence from a lawsuit during its constructions revealed that it is owned by billionaire financier Nat Rothschild. The yacht will remain at ONE°15 Brooklyn Marina through November. (Brooklyn Daily Eagle)
