Gun-Wielding Trio Robs Man At Brooklyn Playground, Police Say

BROOKLYN, NY — Police are searching for three suspects following the armed robbery of a 20-year-old man in Brooklyn, NYPD officials said.

According to the NYPD, the 20-year-old victim was sitting inside Grace Playground at Belmont Avenue and New Jersey Avenue on May 10 when three men approached and quickly surrounded him.

One of the suspects then pulled out a gun and forcibly took cash, iPhones, and other belongings before fleeing on foot.

The three suspects reportedly ran south on New Jersey Avenue before fleeing in an unknown direction, police said.

No injuries were reported in the incident. While one individual has been arrested, the investigation is still ongoing, police said.
