Here are the top stories today in Brooklyn:

  1. Hungry House, which is billed as an "anti-ghost-kitchen" ghost kitchen, opens at the Brooklyn Navy Yard this weekend. Founder Kristen Barnett has brought on top chefs Woldy Reyes, Rawlston Williams, and others for the launch. Hungry House joins a slew of newly minted takeout and delivery businesses in New York City.   2. Brooklyn has seen a major drop in crime since the NYPD boosted its community outreach programs in more neighborhoods. Murders are down 21 percent, while shootings have gone down 20 percent. One noteworthy instance is in the Brownsville neighborhood. (amNY)
