Man Fighting For His Life After Falling Onto Bed-Stuy Roof: Cops

BED-STUY, NY — A man in his 40s was fighting for his life Thursday after falling onto a Bed-Stuy roof, police said.

The man was found unconscious and unresponsive about 7:35 a.m. on a roof on Broadway between Malcolm X Boulevard and Dekalb Avenue, according to the NYPD.

He was rushed to an area hospital in critical condition, police said.

It was not immediately clear how the man fell, but his injuries indicated he had fallen from a significant height — potentially a neighboring building, police said.
