Man Killed After Roof Collapse In Brooklyn, FDNY Says

BROOKLYN, NY — A construction worker was killed after a partial roof collapse at a two-story building in Brooklyn Thursday.

The incident happened at 3123 Quentin Road in Marine Park just before 9 a.m.

A 43-year-old worker was found under a five-inch slab of concrete, according to the FDNY.

The 43-year-old worker was apparently making repairs to the restaurant and installing refrigerators on the first floor when the collapsed occurred.

The man was transported to Brookdale Hospital in critical condition, where he was later pronounced dead.
