Man Stabbed To Death In Brooklyn, Daughter Charged With Murder

The victim was transported to Brookdale University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

BROOKLYN, NY — A 41-year-old man was found stabbed to death in Bushwick Tuesday night and his 20-year-old daughter has been charged with second degree murder, police announced.

Police responded around 9 p.m. to 12 De Sales Place, where they found Jose Acevedo unresponsive with multiple stab wounds to the chest and back.

The victim was transported to Brookdale University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Josephine Santiago was taken into police custody following the incident and has also been charged with criminal possession of a weapon.

According to reports from the New York Daily News and AMNY, police believe the 41-year-old man may have been stabbed following a verbal argument with his daughter.
