Man Steals Cell Phone From Woman On Brooklyn Train: Police
A woman's phone was stolen from her hands as she was riding a southbound "L" train on Thursday, officials said.

BROOKLYN, NY — A man stole a woman's cell phone as she rode on a southbound Brooklyn subway train Thursday afternoon, police said.
At about 4:40 p.m., a 23-year-old woman was aboard a southbound "L" train at the Jefferson Street subway station when a man approached her from behind, according to officials.
The man then sneakily swiped her phone from her hands, police said, and then fled the scene in an unknown direction as soon as the train doors opened.

No injuries were reported, police said.
An NYPD spokesperson did not have much of a description to offer, only noting that the man appeared to have a light complexion and was last seen wearing a blue hooded jacket and camouflage pants.
