Here are the top stories today in Brooklyn:

1. Ayat Restaurant team, founders of the popular fast-casual eatery Ayat in Bay Ridge, are opening a new eatery near Industry City. The restaurant, named Albadawi, will feature Palestinian fare just like its predecessor. The location, however, will be larger and will feature a full-service dining experience. (Eater NY)
2. The suspect in the execution-style slaying of Delia Johnson in Crown Heights on Aug. 4, has been identified and arrested in Jacksonville, Florida. 42-year-old Claudia Banton will be extradited to New York and tried for the murder of Johnson, which took place on a crowded city sidewalk. Banton, who has gone by two aliases in the past, has four prior arrests, including kidnapping and grand larceny. (New York Post )
3. Ten people were injured in a construction site fire in Bay Ridge early on Tuesday morning. Among the injured were two firefighters, but officials said that all reported injuries were minor. The cause of the fire is under investigation. (CBS New York)
