Here are the top stories today in Brooklyn:

1. A Brooklyn man was stabbed to death near his residence at the Red Hook Houses. 34-year-old Aaron Cherry was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead. Police have been unable to ascertain a possible motive for the brutal attack. (AMNY)
2. A Brooklyn man was arrested on Sunday morning after shooting his own parents. 29-year-old Dino Tomasetti of East Williamsburg attempted to kill his parents at their home in Long Island before police responded. Both victims were alive and responsive when taken to the hospital. (WPIX 11 New York)
3. A Brooklyn subway rider was viciously pushed onto the subway tracks by Quincy Griffin, a Bronx resident. The 24-year-old Griffin was taken into custody immediately following the incident. Onlookers say that the attack was entirely unprovoked. (New York Post )
