🌱 Rutland Road Shooter Arrested + Agi's Counter Opens Monday

Here are the top stories today in Brooklyn:

1. A suspect was taken into custody for an Oct. 14 shooting on Rutland Road in Brooklyn. 22-year-old Trey McFarlene was arrested for fatally shooting 41-year-old Dwayne Johnson in the chest after a verbal altercation. McFarlene was charged with manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon. (AMNY)
2. L'Elite MediSpa and Wellness BK is expanding its services to a new state-of-the-art facility on Nostrand Avenue in Crown Heights. The certified minority and women owned business is owned by Richina Lukes-Milledge. Lukes-Milledge has earned numerous certifications in vitamin infusions, skincare, hair removal, among other practices. (EIN News)
3. Chef Jeremy Salamon will open his first restaurant, Agi's Counter, on Monday, Nov. 8 at 818 Franklin Ave. Named after Salamon's paternal grandmother, Agi's Counter will feature reinterpretations of Hungarian and Austrian dishes, as well as recipes that pay homage to his Jewish American heritage.
