Suspect Charged In Attack, Robbery Of Woman At NYC Subway Station
The incident happened at the Chauncey Street subway station in Brooklyn.

BROOKLYN, NY — A 54-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the attack of a 26-year-old woman inside a subway station this past weekend, police announced on Wednesday.
Lewis Doctor, of Brooklyn, has been charged with robbery, police said.
The incident happened on June 22 around 12:10 a.m. at the Chauncey Street subway station in Brooklyn, police said.

A 26-year-old woman was walking down a staircase at the station when she was approached by the suspect. The 54-year-old then pushed the victim to the ground and punched her with a closed fist multiple times about the body.
Doctor then forcibly removed a cell phone, debit card, an unknown amount of cash and headphones before fleeing the station, police said.

The woman was transported to Brookdale Hospital Medical Center for treatment.
