BUSHWICK, NY — A 23-year-old accused of robbing a subway rider at knifepoint was arrested Tuesday, but at least six others thought to be involved still remained at large, police said.

Yachuan Velasquez, 23, stands accused of injuring a man alongside a gaggle of suspected robbers on July 8 in Bushwick, according to the NYPD.

Police say Velasquez and at least six others approached the 43-year-old about 4:20 a.m. at the Wyckoff Avenue subway station and held him down, put a knife to his wrist and punched and kicked his body — all to make away with about $100, police said.
