Here are the top stories today in Brooklyn:

  1. A 17-year-old pedestrian was struck and killed on Kings Highway by a 19-year-old driver in a BMW sedan. Terah Saucier was crossing the busy street less than a block from his home at the Avenue K intersection when he was struck at approximately 7 p.m. The victim was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead, while the driver remained on the scene after the crash.   2. A collision at Avenue R and Coney Island Avenue in the Gravesend area led to injuries on Friday afternoon. At least one passenger was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries. The circumstances surrounding the accident remain under investigation. (Local Accident Reports)
  3. Exterior work is nearing completion at 58 Saint Marks Pl. in Boerum Hill. The 12-story residential building will yield 100 residential units with 45 unique floor plans. The property will also feature 19,000 square feet of amenities. (New York YIMBY)
