Here are the top stories today in Brooklyn:

  1. A fire in a three-story Williamsburg apartment building caused severe damage and displaced numerous residents. Luckily no serious injuries were reported from the fire. Monday's incident marks the second fire to breakout in the neighborhood in the past week. (Brooklyn Paper)
  2. A 19-year-old man is in critical condition after being shot in the torso near a construction site at Rockaway Avenue. At this time, a description of the suspect is not available. No arrests have been made in the case as of yet. (amNY)
