Knife-Wielding Duo Attacks Man In Central Park Assault: Cops

Police said a man was slashed multiple times after an altercation with two men in Central Park over the weekend.

CENTRAL PARK, NY — A man was repeatedly slashed following an argument with two men in Central Park this weekend, police said.

At around 9:45 a.m., a 42-year-old man was stabbed multiple times — throughout his whole body — just inside the entrance of the park at West 67th Street and Central Park West, according to officials.

Medics rushed the injured man in stable condition to Mount Sinai West Hospital, the NYPD said.

A police spokesperson said that the two suspects had argued with the victim when things got out of hand, leading to the vicious attack.

The two unidentified assailants fled the scene on foot, westbound on West 66th Street, police said.

No arrests have been made as of Monday morning.
