Man Assaults Victim With Stick In Central Park, Police Say
The perpetrator started an argument with a 49-year-old man in Central Park before attacking him with a stick.

CENTRAL PARK, NY — Police are looking for a man who struck a pedestrian with a stick in Central Park on Wednesday morning, New York City Police Department officials said.
According to the NYPD, the perpetrator started an argument with a 49-year-old man at 8:20 a.m. in Central Park, on a path near the Davis Center Ice Rink, near the northern tip of the park, at 70-02 East Drive.
Then, the man struck the victim in the left hand with a stick and ran off through the park, heading north to parts unknown, police said.

The victim refused medical attention, authorities said.
