Moped Mounted AirPod Thieves Sought In Central Park, SoHo Swipes: NYPD
A moped riding duo behind at least two Apple AirPod thefts in Manhattan are being sought by authorities.

CENTRAL PARK, NY - A moped riding duo behind at least two Apple AirPod thefts in Manhattan are being sought by authorities.
The first incident was reported on Nov. 30 about 2:30 p.m. after a 30-year-old woman walking on East 74 Street and East Drive inside Central Park was approached by a man from behind who snatched her AirPod headphones, police said.
The man individual fled in an unknown direction on a blue two-wheeled vehicle, which was being operated by a second unknown individual.

About 15 minutes later, a 31-year-old woman was crossing the street opposite of 406 Broome St. when she was approached from behind by a man who snatched her AirPod headphones. The unknown man then fled southbound on Lafayette Street on a blue two-wheeled vehicle, which was being operated by a second unknown individual.
No physical injuries were reported by the victims. AirPods range in value from $129 to $249 depending on the model.

The first suspect is described as a man standing about six feet tall and weighing about 190 pounds, police said. He was last seen wearing a black hooded jacket, black face mask, blue jeans and black sneakers.
The second suspect is described as a man with dark colored hair. He was last seen wearing a black hooded jacket, a black backpack, black pants and white sneakers while operating the blue two wheeled vehicle involved in both incidents.
