
FARMINGDALE, NY — One person was killed and two others were injured in a two-car crash in Farmingdale Friday morning, Nassau police said.
It happened shortly before 11 a.m. at the intersection of Clinton and Conklin streets. A 2011 X-Terra heading west on Conklin Street collided with a Mercedes that attempting to make a left turn onto eastbound Clinton Street.
The driver of Mercedes was taken to a local hospital in critical condition, but died a few hours later, police said. The two people inside the Nissan suffered minor injuries and were taken to the hospital for evaluation.

Police did not release the names of any of those involved in the crash. The investigation is ongoing.
