Church Van, Car Collide in East Farmingdale

A church van and a car collided in East Farmingdale late Sunday night, leading to three people being treated for minor injuries.

Suffolk County Police reported that the crash took place on Route 109 near Albany Avenue about 10:20 p.m. Sunday. Firefighters from East Farmingdale and North Lindenhurst responded. The injuries were described as minor, police said.

The van was being operated by the Spanish Church of God in Brentwood and collided with an Audi. Authorities could not say how many people were in the van at the time of the crash and further details weren't available.
