Conklin Street Crash Kills Melville Driver

A Melville man was killed in a single-car crash early Sunday morning on  Suffolk County Detectives said. 

Patrick Bellero, 20, was driving a 2004 Infiniti eastbound on Conklin Street just east of New Highway shortly after 5 a.m. when his vehicle veered off the road and struck a fence.

Bellero, of 27 Treeview Dr., Melville, was transported to Nassau University Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

The vehicle was impounded for a safety check and the investigation is continuing. Suffolk detectives are asking anyone with information on the crash to contact the First Squad at 631-854-8152.
