Donate Canned Goods at Farmingdale Library
Sen. Charles Fuschillo Jr. has teamed up with Island Harvest for a holiday food drive.

Residents and community groups are invited to bring canned goods and other non-perishable food items to and other local locations for a food drive sponsored by Sen. Charles Fuschillo Jr., R-Merrick.
Food collected through the program will be donated to Island Harvest, which
distributes more than 8 million pounds of food to non-profit organizations
across Long Island. More than 283,000 Long Islanders are affected by hunger
each year, according to Island Harvest.
“Far too many Long Island families don’t know where their next meal is going to come from. Through this food drive, we can lend a hand to families that have fallen on hard times. I invite all residents to join us in helping our neighbors in need,” said Fuschillo.
Food donations can be dropped off through the end of the year at any of the following locations during their normal business hours:
