This week's property is the former laundromat on Merritts Road near Northwest Drive. For $2,678 per month, renters get 1,190 square feet of space in a busy shopping center adjacent to Best Yet supermarket and CVS.
The realtors for the property are Kelly Hicks and John Roach of Hicks & Roach Realty Inc. in Farmingdale. According to Roach, the storefront has been empty for around a year and there have been several companies interested. He added that the landlord is loyal to a non-competing businesses clause, meaning if there is a type of business that already exists in the shopping center, another one won't be permitted to open in the empty storefront.
