Farmingdale 2024-25 School Budget Passes
See whether the Farmingdale School District's budget passed this year.
FARMINGDALE, NY — Residents within the boundaries of the Farmingdale School District on Tuesday voted to pass the 2024-25 school budget by a margin of 1,532 yes votes to 922 no votes.
The district's budget is $200,036,027, up 2.95 percent from last year's. The tax levy is $140,429,624, up 2.64 percent.
Gavin Rogers (1,510 votes), Anthony Giordano (1,506 votes) and Kathy Lively (1,450 votes) were elected to the Farmingdale Board of Education. Giordano and Lively were incumbents. Incumbent Sheree Jones was not relected with 1,192 votes.

Proposition II for the capitals project passed with 1,749 yes votes to 709 no votes.
Proposition III for the Farmingdale Youth Council passed with 1,726 votes to 727 no votes.
