Farmingdale 2025-26 School Budget Passes

The Farmingdale School District budget has passed this year.

FARMINGDALE, NY — Residents within the boundaries of the Farmingdale School District on Tuesday voted to pass the 2025-26 school budget by a margin of 2,047 yes votes to 1,495 no votes.

The district's budget is $206,042,592, up 3 percent from last year's. The tax levy is $143,632,984, up 2.28 percent.

Voters elected George Andriopoulos and Suzanne D'Amico, who ran unopposed, to the Farmingdale Board of Education for three-year terms set to commence on July 1 and expire on June 30, 2028.

Proposition 2, regarding the Farmingdale Youth Council, also passed, with 2,289 yes votes to 1,199 no votes.
