Farmingdale Home Burglarized By 2 Men: Police
The men were driving a car that detectives say had been part of a prior burglary.

FARMINGDALE, NY — Two Bronx men were arrested in connection with a burglary in Farmingdale, Nassau police said.
Detectives observed a red Nissan that was involved in a prior burglary parked outside of a Fulton Street apartment complex near Iroquois Avenue around 9:40 p.m. Thursday, police said. One of the men was in the driver seat, and detectives said they watched as another man entered the passenger seat, police said.
They followed the vehicle and activated their emergency lights, stopping the vehicle at Fulton and Conklin streets, police said.

Michael Herrera, 45, and Donelle Johnson, 46, had just burglarized a Fulton Street home, police said. Both men were placed into custody without incident.
Herrera and Johnson were each charged with second-degree burglary, police said. Johnson has an active New York City warrant for aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, police said.

Both men were arraigned Friday at First District Court, at 99 Main St., Hempstead.
