Farmingdale Playground Being Renovated

SOUTH FARMINGDALE, NY — New equipment was installed at Lt. Christopher Sullivan Park in Farmingdale.

The old playground was dismantled and removed to make way for a new one as part of the Town of Oyster Bay's park improvements project. Some parks have been enhanced while others have been completely replaced.

"Over the past couple years, our Town Board has invested the resources needed to replace outdated playgrounds with new equipment, bringing brand new, state-of-the-art playgrounds to local parks," Oyster Bay Supervisor Joseph Saladino told Patch. "Playgrounds in need of enhancement have also been receiving a facelift so that children can continue to safely enjoy them for years to come."

Lt. Christopher Sullivan Park is at 45 Scholl Drive.
